MX 5CM – Extremely well made and versatile product. I went the custom option with 1 x amp, 1 x amp send, 1 x amp return, 2 x mono relay and 2 x stereo relay connectors plus 240 volt power, all in one cable. Very fast service – it took about 4 weeks to design, manufacture and ship to the UK. Remarkably cost effective too – about the cost of one high end pedal. Very happy user!
Hey guys & hope this finds you well. Many moons after the completion of this project I am still completely blown away with not just the build and product quality, but also the communications and ongoing support I receive from Gerry & Co at DuGyte Systems to this day.
As a professional musician with over 30 years experience in the industry very seldom have I had the pleasure of being involved with someone who is both so passionate & knowledgeable about realising the visions of musicians .
Initially i purchased a Fractal AX8, and just wanted a basic yet sturdy cable system and case to go with it. Andrew Farnham (Independent Music – Fractal Audio Aust) suggested I contact Gerry at DuGyte Systems, who could help – from a musical perspective it was one of the best phone calls I’ve ever made.
What was so pleasing was not only did Gerry have all the answers to my questions, he selflessly shared his decades long knowledge and practical experience in developing a pedalboard beyond my wildest expectations. And when considering all the bells and whistles we added along the way i received fantastic value for money as well. Gerry worked closely with me the entire build sharing many different options and capabilities that were available, some I had never even thought of.
For my set up, I went with the DuGyte MX 6CM Stereo, Custom Trolley Case and one of the new Viper Iso6 isolated power supplies. I can confirm without a doubt that the DuGyte MX 6CM cable system needs to be (not) heard to be believed , and coupled with the pedalboard design saves me on average over an hour on set up & pull down. With this build all I have to do is plug in either 2 or 4 cables, then flick one switch and my entire pedalboard is ready to go. Plus having it all in one handy case, it easily wheels from gig, to studio, and beyond.
Without any hesitation I would recommend Gerry and DuGyte Systems Products to anyone who is looking to set up a guitar pedalboard the best, yet easiest way possible.
So glad that DuGyte Systems was willing to work on a roller rack for me! I had contacted several case manufacturing companies who said “Yes” but the interest quickly fell off with lack of communication. I decided to look into DuGyte Systems and found they had a Custom Shop with the tag line, “DUGYTE SYSTEMS CUSTOM SHOP – WHERE DREAMS BECOME ROCKALITY!”. It gave me hope and I sent them an email with some ideas.
Gerry Mayo contacted me quickly with true interest in my project and with that they launched into the project with timely updates and constant communication. Really coming up with a build that surpasses what I had in mind and they even constructed a wonderful breakout panel.
Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in someone helping me bring an idea to life and the quality was second to none. So proud to own this case.

“I was very lucky to get to road test one of the early Dugyte AX8 flight cases, power supply and wiring loom systems. Countless shows and flights around Australia and also a couple of tours in Europe and the UK with Pete Murray. Probably somewhere around 40 flights and baggage handlers to date and still going. With regards to the DuGyte 5CM, I compared it in my studio to hear the difference between the 5CM loom and signal path vs directly out of the AX8 outputs. I was impressed to find that the DuGyte was a much cleaner and far less noisy. Signal being clearer with less Noise is essential on bigger stages through larger PA systems and especially when using IEMS. The DuGyte clarity is incredible. Massive thanks Gerry for the DuGyte system and also to Andrew at Fractal for a setup that I use all over the world without any hiccups. Cheers lads!
